The Faultline Study Johns-Inspired Abstract Rug explores the hidden structures that connect and divide the world around us. Branching lines stretch across layered fields of muted coral, weathered blue, charcoal black, and soft ivory, resembling maps, root systems, fault lines, and forgotten pathways. Inspired by the symbolic and investigative spirit of Johns-inspired abstraction, this rug transforms a living space into a place of observation, curiosity, and reflection.

At the center of the composition, dark organic forms emerge like fragments of landscape suspended between reality and memory. Fine directional markings, intersecting lines, and scattered symbols create the feeling of a visual study in progress—part cartography, part archaeology, part dream. The artwork encourages viewers to trace connections, discover patterns, and build their own interpretations from the layered imagery.

The palette balances warmth and restraint. Soft coral fields introduce energy and movement, while weathered blue-gray tones create depth and calm. Charcoal elements provide contrast and structure, allowing the composition to feel simultaneously expressive and analytical. This balance makes the rug a compelling focal point without overwhelming the surrounding interior.

Designed for living rooms and reading nooks, this Johns-Inspired Abstract Rug works beautifully beneath a coffee table, beside an armchair, under a bookshelf, or as the visual anchor of a thoughtfully curated space. Its collector-inspired aesthetic pairs naturally with contemporary interiors, creative studios, modern libraries, and gallery-inspired homes.

Crafted from premium faux cashmere, this Johns-Inspired Abstract Rug provides a luxuriously soft feel underfoot. The anti-slip backing helps keep the rug securely positioned, while reinforced stitched edges ensure durability for everyday living.
