Product Description
Sunset Waves 5 ft Abstract Round Rug
Sunset Waves is a 5 ft abstract round rug designed to bring soft color and continuous movement into modern interiors. Flowing bands of mustard, teal, rust, and cream create a balanced warm-and-cool palette with a mid-century-inspired look.
With a diameter of approximately 60 inches (152 cm), this round living room rug works well beneath a small coffee table, beside an accent chair, or as a colorful focal point in a reading nook, bedroom seating area, home office, studio, or apartment. Its circular shape helps soften straight furniture lines without visually overwhelming the room.
The artwork is dye-sublimation printed on a soft faux cashmere surface with an 8 mm pile and a 4 mm non-slip backing, creating an approximate total thickness of 12 mm. A warm white overlock edge, approximately 0.8 cm wide, frames the design and provides a clean finished border.
Made in California, Sunset Waves is carefully printed and finished and typically ships within 72 hours. U.S. delivery only.

Where This 5 ft Round Rug Works Best
- Centered beneath a small coffee table
- Beside an accent chair or compact sofa
- In a reading nook or creative corner
- Near a bed, dresser, or bedroom chair
- In a home office, studio, or small apartment
Measure the open floor area and furniture footprint before ordering. A 5 ft round rug creates the best balance when its curved edge remains visible instead of being completely covered by furniture.
Care Instructions
- Vacuum regularly using low suction.
- Spot clean with mild detergent.
- Air dry completely after cleaning.
- Do not bleach or machine wash.
- Keep the rug indoors and protected from prolonged moisture.
Important Notes
- Each rug is hand cut and overlocked. Finished dimensions may vary by approximately 1–2 inches due to cutting and edge finishing.
- Dye-sublimation ink colors the surface of the soft pile but does not fully penetrate to the fiber base. Brushing the pile in different directions may make some areas appear lighter or darker.
- Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings, room lighting, viewing angle, and pile direction.
- Temporary creases caused by folded shipping normally relax after the rug is laid flat.
- Designed for indoor residential use; it is not intended for commercial or exposed outdoor environments.
Sunset Waves Round Rug FAQs
How large is the Sunset Waves round rug?
It measures approximately 5 ft in diameter, equal to about 60 inches or 152 cm. Minor variations may occur because each rug is hand cut and overlocked.
Can I place this 5 ft round rug under a coffee table?
Yes. It works well beneath a small or medium coffee table when enough of the curved edge remains visible. Measure both the table and open floor area before ordering.
What material and thickness does the rug have?
The rug has an 8 mm faux cashmere pile and a 4 mm non-slip backing, for an approximate total thickness of 12 mm.
Why can the colors look different when the pile is brushed?
The long, soft fibers reflect light differently depending on their direction. Because the printed color does not fully reach the base of the pile, brushing the fibers may make the surface appear slightly lighter or darker. This is a normal material characteristic.
How should I clean Sunset Waves?
Vacuum with low suction and spot clean using mild detergent. Air dry completely. Do not bleach or machine wash.
How quickly does the rug ship?
Sunset Waves is made in California and typically ships within 72 hours. Delivery is available within the United States only.
