Mocha Mist – Coffee Stain Inspired Rug | 2.5 x 3 ft | Living Room

Mocha Mist is a 2.5 x 3 ft irregular coffee stain rug inspired by the soft edges and layered color of watercolor pigment. Mocha, taupe, cream, and smoky brown blend across its organic outline, creating a quiet accent for living rooms, reading corners, and other small indoor spaces.

Instead of using a literal coffee spill image, the design interprets natural stain marks as abstract art. The softly diffused color creates depth without strong contrast, allowing this abstract brown rug to complement warm modern, organic, minimalist, and relaxed interiors.

Made in California, Mocha Mist combines an 8 mm faux cashmere surface with a 4 mm basic anti-slip backing for approximately 12 mm total thickness. Reinforced overlock stitching follows the irregular silhouette and creates a clean finished edge.

A Small Irregular Rug for Quiet Corners

At 2.5 x 3 ft, Mocha Mist is an accent-size rug rather than a full seating-area rug. Place it beside an accent chair, near the end of a sofa, beneath a plant stand, or in a reading nook where its complete shape remains visible.

Placement Tips

Measure the intended floor area before ordering. The 2.5 x 3 ft size works best as a small decorative accent and is generally too compact to anchor a full sofa arrangement or standard living room seating group.

Place the rug on a clean, dry, flat floor and leave enough space around the irregular edge so its shape remains visible. Walnut furniture, natural wood flooring, soft gray upholstery, and matte black accents coordinate especially well with its mocha-toned palette.

Care Instructions

• Vacuum regularly using low suction without a beater bar.
• Spot clean with cold water, mild detergent, and a soft cloth.
• Do not soak, bleach, or machine wash.
• Blot spills instead of rubbing the faux cashmere surface.
• Air-dry completely before returning the rug to the floor.

Important Notes

• Minor size variations of approximately 1–2 inches may occur during cutting and finishing.
• Colors and pile-direction shading may vary with lighting, viewing angle, and screen settings.
• The basic anti-slip backing helps reduce movement but does not make the rug completely slip-proof.
• Temporary creases caused by folded shipping packaging will gradually relax after the rug is laid flat.
