A Room for Mourning – Stamp-Inspired Rug | 6 x 9 ft | Living Room

The A Room for Mourning Stamp-Inspired Rug feels like a memory preserved inside a flower. At its center, a solitary chair sits within the folded heart of a bloom—a quiet room untouched by time, waiting for someone who never returned. Part botanical study, part emotional landscape, this piece transforms absence into something beautiful and contemplative.

Designed as an irregular stamp-inspired rug, the artwork merges faded postal textures, delicate linework, and soft vintage tones into a poetic composition. The flower becomes both shelter and remembrance, while the muted blush, ivory, charcoal, and weathered sage palette create an atmosphere of stillness and reflection.

Sized at 6 × 9 ft, this statement rug anchors a living room with gallery-like presence. The unusual silhouette softens the geometry of furniture and architecture, allowing the piece to feel collected rather than merely decorative. Whether placed beneath a seating arrangement or showcased as a standalone focal point, it introduces narrative, emotion, and visual depth into the space.

Crafted from premium faux cashmere, this rug offers a soft, plush feel underfoot and reproduces the artwork's colors and textures. The anti-slip backing helps keep it in place on suitable indoor flooring, while the overlock edge gives its irregular silhouette a neat, finished contour.

Made to order in California, USA, A Room for Mourning typically ships within 3 business days after the order is placed. No design approval is required for this ready-designed rug. Carrier transit time is additional.
