Rainy is the beloved cat behind the TikTok account @rainythecat2025.
When we first came across one of Rainyβs videos, we immediately thought he would make a beautiful custom-shaped rug. After reaching out to his owner, what began as a simple message turned into one of our favorite creator rug collaborations.
This story is not only about the finished rug. It is about how one pet photo became a large, personal piece made especially for Rainyβs home.

Choosing the right photo.
Rainyβs owner shared several photos with us. Instead of simply choosing the cutest one, we looked for the image that best captured Rainyβs natural presence.
The relaxed paws, alert ears, calm expression, and natural body shape all mattered. A great custom pet rug should not only resemble the pet β it should feel personal and recognizable.

The artwork was created around Rainyβs natural silhouette. We preserved his face, tabby markings, soft body shape, and recognizable pose while turning the photo into a clean custom-shaped rug design.

After the shaped design was selected, the project grew into something larger. Rainyβs owner first imagined an 8 ft piece, and after discussing our current production width, we decided on a large 6Γ9 ft custom rug.
That is what makes custom work special: the final piece is shaped not only by the photo, but by the conversation behind it.

Once the design and size were confirmed, we prepared the artwork for production. The rug was printed, hand-cut, finished, inspected, and shipped to Rainyβs home.
