“I actually think the cream color turned out very well. I think it was a better option than a darker color!”— Ninoo Tech
How a Custom Logo Rug Became Part of a Creator’s Gaming Setup
A gaming setup is rarely finished in one go. For creators like Ninoo Tech, the room keeps changing as new gear, lighting, artwork, and personal details are added over time. This time, he wanted to bring something more personal to the floor: a custom logo rug featuring his Japanese creator name, “ニノオテック.”
What started as a simple dark design eventually became a cream rug that felt much more at home beneath his desk.
The Idea Behind Ninoo Tech’s Custom Logo Rug
Ninoo’s original concept was straightforward: a dark charcoal background with his Japanese creator name in white. It matched the darker side of his tech-focused room while keeping the design simple.
Since Ninoo regularly updates his desk and room setup, the rug was never meant to become the loudest feature in the space. Instead, it would add one more personal detail to an area that had previously been mostly empty.
The design did not need a complicated graphic, either. His creator name already appears elsewhere in the room, so turning the same wordmark into a personalized logo rug made sense as a natural extension of the setup.

Choosing the Right Color
Instead of settling on the original dark direction, we explored six lighter neutral bases with olive-green lettering: Light Linen, Stone Sand, Tan, Khaki, Camel, and Cream.
Ninoo narrowed the options down to three favorites: Khaki, Tan, and Cream.
The next step made the choice much easier. Rather than relying only on digital mockups, the factory produced the three shortlisted colors as actual rugs. Seeing them side by side gave us a clearer picture of how each color translated into the finished material.
Once we compared the physical samples, Cream looked cleaner and lighter. We shared the sample photo with Ninoo, and it became the final choice for his custom gaming rug.
From Final Design to Finished Rug
The finished custom logo rug measures 2 × 3 ft and is made from faux cashmere, with a cream base and olive-green lettering. The lighter palette creates contrast against the dark desk, chair, and equipment while keeping the room visually balanced.
Each rug is made locally in California and shipped within 72 hours of production.

How the Rug Changed the Desk Area
Before the rug, the floor beneath the desk was mostly open. Afterward, the cream gaming room rug fills that area and adds another recognizable Ninoo Tech detail. It is not a dramatic room makeover—and it does not need to be. The rug simply makes the desk area feel more complete.

What Ninoo Thought of the Final Rug
Once the rug was in his room, Ninoo confirmed that the lighter color had been the right choice.
“The custom rug is amazing! It’s soft, steady, and looks great! The custom rug process was super easy and the team at A Print Nest is spectacular.”Review from Ninoo Tech
Ninoo also showed the finished rug in his TikTok unboxing and setup video, placed directly beneath the desk. Together, the video and review show that the lighter design works in the finished room—not only in product photos.

Personalizing a Gaming Setup Beyond the Desk
Ninoo’s project shows that personalizing a gaming setup does not always require replacing furniture or redesigning the whole room. Sometimes a creator name, a carefully chosen color, and a small unused section of the floor are enough to make the space feel more personal.
A custom logo rug can turn a logo, name, artwork, or lettering into something that becomes part of the room itself.
Custom Logo Rug Questions
Can I make a custom logo rug from my own logo or name?
Yes. A custom logo rug can be made from a logo, creator name, lettering, or other artwork. For Ninoo Tech’s rug, the design was based on his Japanese creator name.
What size rug works for a gaming setup?
It depends on the available floor space and placement. Ninoo used a 2 × 3 ft rug beneath his desk, which added a personalized detail without covering too much of the room.
How do I choose a color for a custom gaming rug?
Start with the colors already used in your setup, but don’t assume the rug has to match the darkest elements. In Ninoo’s case, comparing Khaki, Tan, and Cream as physical samples helped show that the lighter Cream base worked better in the room.
